Currently, our client is a foreign transportation company looking for a successful candidate to join the organization as a Chief Accountant.

 Chief Accountant

Location:  Bolesławiec

Ref.no.: 2021/08/CA

Responsibilities:

  • Keep accounting books in accordance with applicable laws and the company’s internal rules
  • Responsible for correct and timely tax settlements, preparing tax returns and maintaining tax and ZUS documentation
  • Supervision over the recording of economic operations in accordance with balance sheet and tax laws
  • Preparation of financial statements for the company (monthly, quarterly and annual) and monthly reporting of the company’s results
  • Supervision and control over the correct settlement of accounting documents
  • Handle matters concerning insurance of property
  • Draw up statistical and other reports required by law (GUS, NBP, etc. )
  • Supervision over the correct circulation and posting of documents
  • Preparation of analyses and reports for internal needs of the company
  • Cooperation with the auditor and other external institutions (US, ZUS, banks, etc. )
  • Participation in the creation of procedures and internal regulations
  • Substantive and organizational supervision over the accounting department

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in finance and accounting or economics
  • Minimum 5 years of transport company work experience in the finance or accounting department
  • Very good command of English, Russian will be an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
  • High responsibility and independence in action
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong analytical and communications skills and well-organized
