Currently for our Business Partner with Danish capital – Producer  of high quality electrical panels and control panels for a wide range of industries, we are looking for Candidate for the position:

 

 

 Category Manager – Electrical Products Industry

 

 Location:  Szczecin.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading Category team(s),
  • Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends,
  • Implement and develop supplier strategy for all suppliers,
  • Managing supplier agreements, prices, timelines, negotiations and quality,
  • Take full and proactive responsibility for supplier performance,
  • Maintaining and expand the supplier database (suppliers from Denmark, Poland and other Countries),
  • Create and expand a database for alternatives components and suppliers,
  • Strive for total cost reduction by driving and executing a sustainable savings in supply chain,
  • Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products,
  • Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility,
  • Liaise with sales teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category,
  • Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories,
  • Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category,
  • Ensure update and maintenance of system vendor and prices master data.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Category Manager or similar role in the Electrical Products Industry,
  • Solid knowledge of category management, sourcing, marketing, and sales principles,
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods,
  • Proficient in MS Office,
  • Communicative knowledge of English,
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability,
  • Excellent communication and people skills,
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing, or related field,
  • Result-orientated, strong decision-maker, Involvement and information skills towards stakeholders, Risk mitigation personality,
  • Flexible workstyle (multiple tasks), Capacity to work under pressure,
  • Analytical skills, Open-minded and self-driven, Independent work style, Delivering results through others.
